$95.00 per couple w/Dinner
$45.00 per couple w/o Dinner
During this event, couples will be led on a unique and humorous tour of the Binghamton Zoo, ending with a romantic dinner at the Binghamton Regency Hotel. This is an adults only event (Over 18). Reservations are required. This event books up fast, so be sure to get your reservation in early!
The tour will start with each couple getting their picture taken. Couples will then be chauffeured via one of our heated Zoomobile vans to the upper zoo to begin the Courtship Tales Tour. During the tour, guests will visit our Education Center, Rainforest Aviary, Woodland Waters, Wolf Woods, and Lion’s Den activity center. All of these areas are indoors, so there will be very little outdoor walking.
Tour leaders will elaborate on the many unique courtship displays and mating rituals of animals within the zoo and around the planet. Couples will learn answers to questions such as: How do porcupines mate, and which bird attracts a mate by building an elaborate multicolored bachelor pad?
Couples will go behind the scenes of our North American Otters and Black Footed Penguin exhibits, for a special close up encounter with these animals. During stops along the tour, couples will be treated to complimentary appetizers, coffee, tea, and sweet treats. And for wine lovers, over the age of 21, there will also be a complimentary wine tasting.
At the conclusion of the tour, couples will receive their framed photograph taken at the beginning of the tour, and travel to the Binghamton Regency Hotel, where they will enjoy a delicious three course candlelit dinner.
